Parks, lakes, hurricanes, and birthdays...

There's been a lot going on lately, so I'll try to get us up to date here:

Walking in Astoria Park has been a favorite activity for both Cameron and for us

Laughing in the park (sorry about the picture quality, it was taken with my phone)

sleeping and stretching in the park (love this stretch!)

We're spending the last days of summer at Candlewood Lake and did some preparations for the hurricane that was supposed to hit the area pretty hard:

 but ended up just giving us some rain and a little wind, nothing big.  Then it cleared away...

After the storm, we had some gorgeous weather and celebrated Cameron's 2 month birthday.

Cam is starting to gain control of his little hands.  He's started sucking on his thumb and fingers a bit and can now (sometimes) successfully reach for a toy and grab it.

Come on, little guy!  You can do it!

Cameron had his 2 month check up a few days ago.  He had gained a whole pound in just one week!  He's now 12 pounds 6 ounces (75th percentile), 23 inches tall (50-75th percentile), and his head circumference is also in the 75th percentile.  He's growing so fast!
