A week at Candlewood

 We've spent the majority of this last week up at Candlewood Lake in CT with little Cam and his grandma and grandpa Fitchett!  It's been really (really!!) nice for all of us to get out of the city, especially since it turned out to be an uber-hot week.

We had a wonderful visit from Cam's Auntie Gwen and Uncle Drew, and his two lovely cousins, Michaela and Sophie!

Cousins are such fun!  We also took a little motorboat ride, to the delight of Michaela, to the distress of Sophie and to the sleepy indifference of Cameron!

Great-Grandpa Fitchett drove over the same afternoon from Poughkeepsie for a great visit... trust him to bust out the bubblegum cigars!

Of course, there was a lot of love from other quarters as well...  Grandma Fitchett for instance, looking for any old excuse to cuddle the little one:

The rest of our time up there passed uneventfully - the way a week at the lake should pass.  Cam is doing great with sleeping, eating and pooping (his 3 primary passtimes) and his mom and dad are doing fine as well (if a little astonished at the sheer volume of nursing he seems to need).  Many thanks for everyone's notes of love, encouragement and joy - they are much appreciated!  Here are a few more random photos:

We're home for a bit today (for a dr.'s appt.: everything is looking good) and then back to the lake tomorrow for just a couple of days, to squeeze every last drop of time there before the Fitchetts leave!  Best to everyone, and we'll post again soon!
